RAT Custom Grips have allowed me to take my shooting to the next level. These grips have tightened my shot groups and increased my control over both the pistol and carbine. I feel less fatigue in my hands and wrists on the training ranges, allowing my concentration levels to remain higher throughout the day, ensuring that every round fired counts.

      On the Sniper Platform these grips and custom modifications have made my shooting positions rock solid. Follow through and recoil management is greatly improved allowing for increased speed in the acquisition of other targets. When dropping into hasty shooting positions and establishing a natural point of aim is significantly quicker do to the custom feel and unique indexes provided by the RAT Grips.

      This is a modification that any operator should look at in order to maximize his capabilities.

Brian Urban introduced me to RAT Grips a few weeks ago to try on my personal weapon (Para Ord P-14-45) an agency issued firearm (Glock 22).  Prior to using it my overall expectations were fairly low for this product since I don’t like add-ons.

Initial set up and ease of use of the product surprised me, being able to configure it to any desirable form and ease of removing it made me like the idea more.  We went to a local indoor range taking my P-14-45 without RAT Grip and Brians’ P-14-45 with RAT Grip on it.  I tried several practice draws with both guns; the RAT Grip provided a very secure and “locked” grip which will take some work to get used to.

The real value of RAT Grips came when I started shooting.  Using both weapons, the only significant difference being that mine didn’t have RAT Grip, Brian’s did, using a standard FBI target at 10 yards, I fired 14 rounds from my gun as fast as I could re-aquire the front site until the gun was empty then picked up Brians’ gun with the RAT Grip and did the same drill, 10 yards, FBI target, 14 rounds as fast as I could re-aquire the front site. 

Using a shot timer, my double tap time was cut almost in half!  I was able to control the weapon very effectively and the shot group was approximately the same size for both weapons at a lot faster.  I have since put RAT Grip on my issue weapon and several officers in my office have had me put it on their also.

Overall impression of RAT Grip:

Easy to use, easy to remove

Very effective for weapon control and comfort.

I will definitely use this product on more of my weapons to include long guns

I would like to express my congratulations on the development of the RAT Grips.

It has transformed my Glock Model 19 to a more custom weapon system that the vast majority of Glock owners will soon come to love and appreciate.  Feeling "My" Grip/Finger mold every time I take control of the unit increases the assurance I have of controlling follow up shots.  For a product that's inexpensive, custom molded, and that won't mar the weapon in any way, your company's truly found an innovative success.
